We know that HMD Global is working on two new smartphones to launch coming January. It is the longtime rumoured Nokia 9 and the advanced version of the Nokia 6, aka Nokia 6 (2018). Now a new report coming from Bluetooth SIG certification reveals that alongside the smartphones, HMD Global is also working on a new 4G feature phone. Not much is known about this new feature phone, but as far as the rumours and reports are concerned, Nokia may launch the 4G Nokia phone in India and other markets very soon. The launch timeline is unknown.

According to the Bluetooth SIG certification -- the new 4G phone by Nokia may come with model numbers -- TA-1047, TA-1060, TA-1056, TA-1079 and TA-1066. This indicates that the upcoming Nokia 4G feature phone may come in five variants which will be heading to different markets. A report coming from GizmoChina suggests that in India the phone may arrive with both single-SIM and dual-SIM.
Earlier last week, two of the aforementioned Nokia phones -- TA-1047 and TA-1060 were certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US. The FCC explains that the two Nokia models are feature phones and not smartphones. As of now, not a lot is known about the upcoming 4G feature phone by Nokia apart from the fact that it may come with a QWERTY keyboard like the older Nokia E72. This information has been revealed by FCC. The benchmark listing further reveals that the dimensions of the new 4G Nokia phone may be 133 x 68mm. It is said that the phone may not run on Android, but it will come loaded with series 30+ Feature OS much like previously launched the Nokia 3310 (2017).
It is speculated that HMD Global may announce a couple of new smartphones and also feature phone in Q1 next year. Rumours of Nokia 9 and Nokia 6 (2018) are making rounds on the web for quite some time now. It suggests that HMD Global may host an event on January 19, and Nokia 9 may be the star of the show, followed by Nokia 6 (2018).
